Welcome to Poulsbo, Washington - "Little Norway!"
Poulsbo's "Little Norway" is utterly quaint, with numerous gift shops and antique stores.
You can easily "do the town" on foot, and a few steps from the little town's shops is a large parking area, next to the waterfront park and marina.
There are several excellent restaurants in Poulsbo.

It is said that Poulsbo has a celebration for just about everything. It's a town with a festive spirit! Every May, Poulsbo is packed with tourists for the annual Viking Fest.
Directions
If you take the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo is about 15 miles north of the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal.
From the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal, follow Highway 305 (You'll be on it when you drive off the ferry) north, across the Agate Pass Bridge. From the bridge, it's about another 5 miles to Poulsbo's "Little Norway". When you get to Poulsbo, turn west at the Chevron Station (toward the water) off of Hi-way 305 onto Hostmark and follow the road. Hostmark will take you directly into "Little Norway" (You'll see no sign of "Little Norway" and might wonder if you took a wrong turn. Then, suddenly, you'll find yourself there)!
If you take the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston: When you drive off the ferry, in Kingston, you'll already be on the road you want. Make NO turns...the road literally take you to Poulsbo. Eventually, you will come to Highway 305, in Poulsbo (I'm guessing it's about a 10-mile drive from Kingston to Poulsbo). Again, make no turns. Continue straight through the intersection, across Highway 305. After perhaps 1/4 mile, you'll come to an intersection where you must turn left or right. Turn left. The road will go straight, up a gentle hill for about a mile -- Liberty Bay's shoreline will be on your right -- and into "Little Norway".
From Tacoma, drive as if going to Silverdale (but, you're going to go on past Silverdale). You'll be on Highway 3 when you pass Silverdale. And, from Silverdale, it's 7 or 8 miles to Poulsbo. Take the Finn Hill Exit off of Highway 3. Finn Hill Rd will take you down a steep hill for about 1/2 mile, to Viking Way (The speed limit is 25 mph. Watch your speed down that hill.). At the bottom of the hill, go straight through the intersection (across Viking Way). After about 1/8 mile, you'll come to an intersection where you must either turn left, or follow the road to the right. Follow the road to the right. At this point, you're about a mile from "Little Norway." Liberty Bay's shoreline will be on your right. Just follow the road on into town.
