Hansville is "away from it all," yet close to everything. Hansville's little town has only a handful of businesses.
There's a repair shop, Handsville Realty, a church, and a fire department. The grocery store is right on the water!
Meanwhile, a major shopping center is only about seven miles away. And, "Little Norway" - the quaint town of Poulsbo - which draws a steady stream of tourists all year 'round, is only about a 20-minute drive from Hansville.
To get there: If you're driving from Poulsbo to Hansville, take Bond Road from Poulsbo, as if you were going to Kingston. After going about seven miles, you'll come to an interesection with a gas station/store on right, with large wood carvings, like those at right, in front of it. Turn left at this interesection and the road will take you another seven miles, or so, straight into Hansville.
If you've come via ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, just follow the highway after you drive off the boat. Drive for five minutes or so and you'll come to an intersection with an Albertons's (super market) and other shops on your right, and a store/gas station on the far corner to your left (The store has many large wood carvings, like these at right, in front of it. You might want to stop there for an ice cream cone).
Turn right at this intersection and follow the road about 7 miles into Hansville. With the exception of a store/gas station that you'll see on your left, a mile or so down the road, your entire drive will be through a rural residential area until you get to Hansville.
