Brinnon, neighboring Quilcene, and vicinity is rural and gorgeous. If you enjoy friendly folks, beautiful scenery, and modern comforts in a rural setting, put Brinnon and the Olympic Peninsula on your "must go visit" list.

Quilcene remains rural and unspoiled because there are few job opportunities in the area. And, the daily commute to work in larger cities, such as Seattle or Tacoma, is just a smidge farther than most people are willing to commute on a daily basis.

But, for retirees, vacationers, and those who are fortunate enough to live and work in the area, rural Brinnon and vicinity is heaven on earth! Brinnon is the perfect location for you to stay if want to see western Washington at its best. There is so much to see in this region! Ideally, it would be great if you could stay a week or two.

While vacationing, use Brinnon as your "home base, while you visit nearby Poulsbo (Little Norway!), and other quaint towns on the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas. You can make day-trips into the Olympic Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean.

Be sure to take a drive along gorgeous Hood Canal! The hustle and bustle of big cities will seem like a distant memory. But, in fact, Seattle and Tacoma are not far away.
