Bellingham's "Old Town": Most anybody in Bellingham can tell you how to find Bellingham's Old Town. Everything in Old Town is in easy walking distance: The museum, antique shops, and the Old Town Cafe.
You can easily wile away a couple of hours browsing around in Old Town's antique stores. Generally speaking, you're apt to find some rather good prices on antiques.
While in Old Town, have breakfast or lunch at the
Old Town Cafe.
From Old Town, drive a few miles along the water to Bellingham's historic
Fairhaven District. In the old days, Fairhaven was its own city, and Fairhaven still retains its own distinct flavor that reflects the hopeful (and sometimes wild) opulence of a Victorian Era frontier town.
