Our "Find Hobbies & Interests" sections include a variety of topics. We especially favor linking to web sites that give people something fun to do (travel sites, restaurants, hobbies, hiking, cycling, boat rentals, Little League teams, for example). You get the general idea, I think.
Websites that we might want to link to do not have to pertain specifically to the Pacific Northwest (USA), so long as they include coverage of the Pacific Northwest. And, some websites (such as Civil War reactment groups, for example) are of such merit that we're pleased to link to them, regardless of whether they cover the Pacific Northwest.
If the above appears to be unduly restrictive, and you think your website might fit well into NorthwestCharm.com, we invite you to e-mail your URL to us. We'll take a look at your website and get back to you about it.

When you e-mail us, please use a personalized subject line to help us distinguish between your
e-mail and spam.
After we have visited your website, we will e-mail you back. If we have accepted your website, we will advise you as to where we placed your link in our website.
After we notify you that we have linked to your site, please e-mail us back within seven (7) days to let us know where to find your reciprocal link (If we do not hear back from you, we will remove your link).
You may link to any page in our website, and we have no preference as to where you place our link in your website (Just as we reserve the right to place your link where we think it will fit best into our website).

Content of sites we link to must be "family friendly."
We reserve the right to refuse to link to any website. We will evaluate each website on an individual basis, to determine if linking would be consistent with our objectives.
Whether and where we place a link in our website is entirely our decision.
Sites we link to must not be involved in illegal or unethical activities.
Sites we link to must not offer or facilitate online gambling.
We will not link to websites for dating services or singles clubs.
Pop-up windows: Sometimes pop-up windows are okay (For Example: A pop-up that displays a restaurant's menu is OK).
Your website does not have to be "sophisticated" (Heaven knows, Cathryn and I are constantly changing and adding to Northwest Charm).
So, if your website is a fledgling web site, that's probably OK (Unless links don't work, or you are just selling something, and your web site doesn't offer much else of interest). Primarily, we just want to know that your intentions are good, and that your website will be a nice, pleasant web site for people to visit.
